Strengths: The picture quality for this TV is simply outstanding. The sound quality is also very good.
Weaknesses: The only thing that one could say was negative about this TV was trying to adjust the color, contrast, etc. after first setting up the TV. It took some tweaking to get the picture just right.
Summary: This TV needed to fit on my current entertainment center. I did not want to have to buy a new entertainment center along with my new TV. My old TV was a 25" tube TV. The 26" Toshiba LCD TV fit perfectly on my console. And, the difference between the tube TV picture and the LCD TV picture is the difference between night from day. My wife and I just love our new LCD TV. We highly recommend this TV for anyone who is looking for a small TV that is also priced very reasonably.

Strengths: clear picture, good sound
Weaknesses: Smaller screen area than I had expected. I would have been better off with a larger screen.
Summary: The television arrived sooner that I had expected. Regular shipping took 6 days even over the holiday weekend. It was easy to set up the basics. I am still learning the complicated aspects.

Strengths: Nice compact design and finish. Great picture and good price.
Weaknesses: Base pads tend to stick to cabinet shelf.
Summary: The set-up was straight forward and the manual is easy to follow. The remote is more complex than remotes for older technology TVs, but it has a lot of nice features and it didn't take long to get familiar with it. Programming the remote for favorite channels was done in a couple of minutes, although the original channel autoscan took a lot longer. The specified viewing angle is somewhat ambitious-the colors tend to wash out as you approach the 150 to 160 viewing angle but then I guess most, if not all LCD TVs do. I have this TV in my bedroom and I am very happy with it's performance. I was a little irritated, however, when I had to move the TV and found that the foot-pads tended to stick to the shelf-this problem was easily solved by placing paper under them. I decided to buy this TV after reading a number of favorable consumer reviews.
