Strengths: No problems burning at all
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I have an 8x burner and I typically burn at 4x speed since I am in no hurry.

Have been using these and have not had any trouble at all. Data is 100% verified and no coasters. Do not expect to get any either. Philips is a brand I trust and there is no reason not to pick these up - especially since they seem to be put on sale quite often!

Strengths: The cost per disk is very reasonable and good quality.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I got these dvds at Circuit City when it is on sale plus review bonus makes is one of the best deals for a brand name blank dvd. I didn't have any coasters yet. I would recommend this to everyone.

Strengths: A TON of storage, actually burns at the speed it's supposed to although fails at 16x sometimes, known brand (Philips) at a really low price
Weaknesses: one of the DVD-Rs failed to burn at 16x speed, and most of the others burned at 16x had errors.
Summary: These are pretty good DVD R's, especially since I got them on sale. They work well on 8x and 2x speeds, but when I tried 16x (because I needed speed!) I got 1 coaster and some others had errors (Only 1 burned successfully). However, there's quite a bit of storage and the quality is okay as well. These work, and if they were on sale again I'd buy them.

Strengths: Reliable, what you'd expect from any reputable DVD-R disc
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I've burned a few so far and there are no problems. I burn at 8x, though. Really, I've never had any problems with any 16x DVD-R discs made by any reputable brand name...as long as I'm using an internal DVD writer. The only thing that is a little annoying about this brand is the text on the face of the disc - it's large, white, and covers about half the bottom of the disc. Typically, I'm used to having additional space to write there. But who cares; it doesn't really matter. Recommended, and was at a steal of a price.

Strengths: It burns well at 16X. No lost data or bad copies yet. Nice price at Circuit City (20 cents per disc).
Weaknesses: None so far. Product works as advertised.
Summary: This is my first 50 pack of DVDs I have ever purchased. Phillips brand is working very well with my internal Memorex DVD drive. No compatibility issues. At 20 cents per disc, it is a nice deal presently at Circuit City. I recommend these discs highly.

Strengths: Works
Weaknesses: None
Summary: There is not a lot to say about this item, other than it works. The pricing is very competitive, especially using pricegrabber. Philips is probably less likely to have a bad disk than some of the generics available.
