1 Star Review 5.8 GHz Analog 25881EE3
Strengths: None
Weaknesses: Plenty
Summary: I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for a new phone. I too am getting the annoying message ""press and hold memo button to receive setup instruction". The cordless lines also cut out frequently. I paid $80 for a product that doesn't work and I've only had the phone for about 3 months. GE is no help either. There has to be something we can do!

1 Star ReviewGE 25881EE3 Cordless Phone
Strengths: 2 cordless hand sets and a corded base for power failures
Weaknesses: To many to list. weak volume small LCD screen low contrast for the LCD (Not dark enough to read) Complicated answering machine can't use 2 cordless handsets at the same time
Summary: Weakness continued

Handset cut off call or won't answer when button is pushed

answering machine resets itself and makes clicking noises several times an hour

The thing just stops working (as a phone)

It's crap don't buy it

If you have take it back

I previously had a GE corded/cordless/answering phone which was great (it was fried by a electric surge) this one is crap!!!!

2 Star ReviewTelephone review
Strengths: none
Weaknesses: several
Summary: We bought this telephone with two cordless units. We are extremely dissapointed. Since we have had the phone, we have had an annoying recorded messages saying "press the memo key for instructions" at least 60 times a day. We have set the program and set the program and still nothing happens. You want to get service or ask a question about this phone, forget it, no help or service what so ever.

Please invest in another series of phone.

1 Star ReviewTerrible phone
Strengths: none
Weaknesses: You Can NOT HEAR ANYTHING!!!! Kind of important quality in a phone.
Summary: You can't turn the phone up high enough nor stick your opposite hand finger far enough into your ear to try and hear the people on the other end. I bought mine at Wal-china-mart. They called me the other day and I had to apologize for not being able to hear them because I had bought the phone from them! When will we realize that we would be better off to spend twice as much for an american made phone that works perfect!
