Strengths: Very good call quality, amazing number of useful features.
Weaknesses: Very small numbers on handsets.
Summary: What I like:
1. Voice quality.
2. Speaker built-in in each phone.
3. Doubles as intercom or walkie-talkie.
4. No interference at all with my wifi b/g network.
5. You can check messages from any phone.
6. You can transfer directory entries from one handset to the rest.
7. You can assign ring tones to caller id numbers, so you know who's calling without looking at the phone.
What I don't like:
1. The handset themselves are really small, and because of that family members complain about buttons being too small.
2. Awkward access to phone directory: you press toggle button for "dial/edit" menu item, then press "select" button and then up/down for entries.
3. Answering machine displays number of total messages instead of number of new messages.
4. The display could show directory entry for person who's calling, it knows it anyhow to select ring tones. This doesn't make a difference for those who pay for caller id with name. But, ATT charges about $2 more for caller id w/name vs caller id. If this phone had this feature, it would pay for itself in about 3 years.
5. When installing on the wall, install it lower than others or you'll have trouble seeing answering machine display from distance ( it is facing the ceiling).
