Strengths: Nice picture crisp and clear
Weaknesses: sound is light
Summary: For the money and excellent value. Sound is not great but with thin mount tv you wouldnt expect it to be. This TV is a model that is being discontinued but should be around for a while.

3 Star ReviewAppropriate LCD TV for the budget minded
Strengths: great picture, crisp and clear
Weaknesses: sound is relatively meak, add a home theater sound system.
Summary: For the money, it is an excellent value. Sound is not great but with a theater sound system, quality is good, supplements the TV's system well. This TV is a model that is being discontinued but should be around for a while. My particular unit likes to cut out on the audio every so often, I still haven't been bothered enough to go get it serviced.

Strengths: Built in Digital HD QAM tuner, HDMI Connection
Weaknesses: Sound system alittle weak, but aren't they all
Summary: Built-in QAM tuner is excellent. Hooked up coax cable directly to TV with without any cable box. Ran channel search and it located every digital and analog cable available including HD channels that the cable company says you have to have their box to receive. What I really couldn't believe is that it even picked up broadcast of pay-per-view movies. I don't know how, I do not have any special equipment. Unfortunately you have to scan the channels to find what pay per view is on and then watch. Not very user friendly, but its free. Basic cable along with the local HD channels were at their appropriate channel. Setup was easy picture is crisp out of the box. I was extremely lucky to stumble across this unit at a clearance price of less than $600. No problems with this unit. Get one if you can find it.
