Summary: I'm on my second unit now. The 1st only worked for a day before it quit communicating with the head unit. I sent it back and got a replacement, but the second one had the same problem show up less than one day after installation. Many other people have complained about this, and have come up with various ways to deal with it. I've learned that the key is: Do not put the "box" where you cannot easily access it, since you'll have to unplug the connecting cable and reset the radio to get it to work again when it quits. Do a search for "JVC Sirius Reset 8" and you'll see what I mean. Thank goodness I only bought a 3-mo Sirius subscription - I've had that about 45 days now, and have only been able to use this unit to connect to sirius radio less than 1/3 of the time.
