Strengths: price, quality
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I was looking for memory to upgrade my HP DV6226US from 1 GB to 2 GB. HP used two 512 MB memory modules to arrive at the 1 GB needed to run Microsoft Windows Vista Premium on this laptop and, with only two slots available, swapping it all out was the only option. While 1 GB appears sufficient, for around $50 after rebate, I just could not resist the opportunity to take it up to 2 GB. When checking the Crucial website specifically for the memory upgrade for the DV6226US, it does not reference this kit (sold by Frys). However, upon review, it is apparent that the modules are the same ones only under a different kit number.

Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: Crucial memory are one of the best. Works well with my Dell E1505. If you are upgrading from 512mb, you will notice a difference especially if you are running vista.

Strengths: Ran various benchmark tests with great results. Well-packaged and in pristine, error-free condition upon arrival. Worked as soon as I popped them in without any need for tinkering with BIOS, etc.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: Would definitely recommend this memory to anyone looking to upgrade their laptop from the 512 MB or 1 GB they usually come with. You can't go wrong with Crucial, and the price I got them for ($50 after rebate) made the deal that much sweeter.

Strengths: An affordable, great quality product that has a lifetime warranty to prove it.
Weaknesses: None that I have found so far, but I don't plan on finding any.
Summary: Got this memory for my new laptop that came with 2 X 512 sticks (1 GB) for Vista. As soon as you start running Vista you find out it is very, very memory hungry. This Crucial memory is the best in my opinion. A lot of people say nowadays memory is just memory, but I'm sticking with Crucial. The lifetime warranty is outstanding and it was a great value.

3 Star Review2x1GB SODIMM DDR2 for Laptop PC
Strengths: Work ok.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: I bought this SODIMM memory kit for replacing the 1GB memory of my Dell inspiron 6000. It works great and, so far, there is no problem.I have not yet tested it through the memory testing software, but I think it did its job well, so far. This is my first time experience to buy the Crucial product and I felt good with their product.

Strengths: CAS 5, easy install, crucial reliability, stable memory
Weaknesses: Module had 8 chips instead of 4 shown in picture
Summary: This is an easy upgrade for Vista laptops. This crucial memory is one of the best choices for DDR2 sodimm laptop upgrades. The current price for this memory $50 from etailers makes it one of the most economic improvements you can make. Installed and immediately recognized in Dell Inspiron 9300.

Strengths: Very reputable company, quality product.
Weaknesses: None that I know of.
Summary: I installed this in my HP DV2415US; it works great. If you're running Windows Vista, a memory upgrade such as this is strongly recommended. For those who don't know computers, memory is very easy to install in laptops; you usually only have to remove a screw and slide it in.

Summary: Great memory. Nothing special but perfect for upgrading a laptop. Worked without a hitch in my Averatec 2370. Going from 1 to 2 gigs of ram gives a great performance boost!

Strengths: Cheap, $60 AR
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I installed it on my thinkpad t61p. So far so good. 2 GB is definitely recommended for vista. It is good to buy 2 X 1GB bundle since you will not have any chance to get them mismatched.

Strengths: Easy installation. Great price. Good brand name.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I recently installed these into my Compaq 6000 notebook. Knowing how Vista sucks all your memory, these were a perfect upgrade for my notebook. Windows and games loading time has improved. Highly recommended for people that are looking to upgrade their memory.

Strengths: Bought the 2x1GB kit for $60 after rebate, pretty good price. Easy intallation.
Weaknesses: Didn't find any yet.
Summary: The kit fitted well into my ACER9410. Taking out the 2x500MB built-in memory sticks and putting in this kit took about 5 minutes. Performance increased at a noticeable ratio with Windows Vista Home Premium, but not as much as I had expected. Don't know how long this kit will last though, as I had a Crucial stick fail on me before.

Strengths: Very reliable. Reputable brand.
Weaknesses: The package is too simple to recognize this is a such excellent memory.
Summary: This pair of 2X1G memories run perfectly on my IBM Thinkpad T43. It improves the booting speed dramatically on VISTA X86.

There is no any conflict between the memory kit and other hardwares on my laptop.

Time of opening MSN becomes incredibly shorter compare my previous 512MBX2=1G.

I turned off the virtual memory and it has no problems.

I would like to recommend my friends to purchase them for their laptop upgrade!

Strengths: Easy to install, functions perfectly
Weaknesses: complex rebate form
Summary: This was a very easy product to install, one little not was I put my notebook computer (this is notebook memory after all) into hibernate mode instead of turning it off.

The ram installed easily, however Vista said it could not recover from hibernate mode as i changed the ram.

Ram works perfectly and is a MUST for vista
