Strengths: VERY solid no-frills PC.
Weaknesses: No restore CD or DVD, even though this doesn't include a burner.
Summary: I was surprised to find a system with XP Pro this cheap, and yet the thing has a DVD-ROM drive and the hard drive is SATA--and 80GB. Eventually I will either add memory or a video card (both?), and the system should handle either upgrade nicely. And as I prefer speakers built into the monitor or in a drive bay, the lack of speakers didn't bother me.
I bought this after getting hold of an Acerpower S285 at work, and this one lacks only that system's gigabit ethernet and dual-core processor support, and is over $200.00 less.
I'm still trying to figure out NTI's CD/DVD burning software (added a burner I already had) after a few years of using Roxio, Nero, and K3B, but XP's built-in program works, so it isn't that big a deal.
