Great looking. Weaknesses: Top side by side doors do not close easily and when they're open, the unit stops cooling. Summary: If you don't believe me on this problem, call a service rep for the company. This is why they have a 'open door' alarm and LG is working on a solution. Not a retro fit for the model I already own, but for future models. I urge you to find another model...even if it's another LG. 94% of People (15/16) found this review helpful. Eye Level convenience for all stored food. Weaknesses: None Summary: This model refrigerator has been out for only a couple of months so please ignore the other review. I used to have a regular refrigerator with the freezer on the top. I really liked the French Door refrigerators but wanted one with an ice dispenser through the door. This model is great. Very modern, ice through the door, and easy access to the food. And the freezer really keeps everything frozen, not mushy like some freezers. Strengths: It looks sharp Weaknesses: LG customer service & water dispenser Summary: I bought this Refrigerator and the last 7 months have been a nightmare. The water dispenser worked for 2 weeks and has gone through repairs & 7 months later the fridge still doesn't dispense water. LG customer service is non-existent, they gave me numbers of techs to repair it and when asked why should customers be making these calls, I was told that's the way they do it. Supervisors and regional manager just want to get off the phone and provide no help. I've worked in retail many years and bought 1000s of products over the years but never have I dealt with such an inconsiderate company.
