Strengths: light weight, very powerful machine with a 64bit processor and 1Gb of RAM. the sound system is more than i was expecting from this 12.1 in / 4lb machine. the display is also very clear
Weaknesses: short battery life, and keyboard keys are very hard
Summary: i bought this machine namely for traveling purposes. it is very light, but i think the 4lb weight is for the machine only less battery. so, with the battery, it adds another 8oz or so to the total weight, but have not used scale to weight it.

i am really amazed with this 64bit processor from AMD, when comparing with my old laptop that has the same amount of DDR RAM but has a INTEL P4 2GHZ processor, I found this little tiny machine process tasks slightly faster.

In my opinion, the one thing this machine lacks is the battery life, but then again, just like all laptops outthere in the market.

one additional point, the glossy black refinish top also added some classiness to the machine in general. There is another model from the same company has a white through out design that looks just like a mac powerbook from a glance. Every noice notebook.

Strengths: Packed with features, performance, looks, size and price. Almost perfect balance.
Weaknesses: Slow hard drive (4200 rpm), battery life is just OK, previous generation integrated graphics (Via Unichrome S3)
Summary: At 12 inches and 4 pounds, this is the perfect machine for the frequent traveler. 1 GB of DDR333, 80 GB hard drive, Turion MT32, wireless 54g, card reader and firewire port..... it really doesn't need anything else to be a complete machine. However, the hard drive is slow, so replace it with a 7200 rpms disk to have a screaming machine. The screen is very nice and bright. Keyboard is on the small size, but you didn't expect a 101 keys layout on a 12.1", did you?

Plenty fast for all the tasks, and can even handle more intensive work decently. A great machine at a very attractive price!

Strengths: Compact laptop, only weighs 4 pounds!!
Weaknesses: Nice if battery lasted a little longer, no vista drivers yet.
Summary: Nice compact laptop, has a decent sized 12 inch widescreen. Like the portability of the laptop a lot. Performance is decent. The battery life is a little dissappointing, usually around 2 hours or less. Also, waiting for drivers for vista, not available on averatec sit yet!

Strengths: Performance solid Beautifull display you can actually watch movies on this screen. SD card reader, DVD R/RW, Fire wire, USB. Confortable keyboard
Weaknesses: Battery life (extended batt on its way)
Summary: For work I use a ThinkPad T42 (much more expensive) Let me just say I don't miss it when I am using this one. I use it for school, email, movies. I had it for 3 months no glitches. If in a budget get this one.
