Nice, sleek design. Simple to install. Weaknesses: Not wall-mountable. Summary: After doing research on the various options of Altec Lansing speakers in this price range, I learned that the VS2120 (earlier model) have the same specifications as the VS2220 (current model) with the only differences being cosmetic (per an Altec Lansing representative). Also, the speakers of the VS2120 are larger than the similar looking satellite speakers of the VS2121 but are not wall-mountable like the satellites of the VS2121 set. (Similar situation occurs with the more recent VS2220 and VS2221 models.) Other than these aspects, the performance of the speakers is very good - just what I would expect from Altec Lansing. Strengths: sound quality, price Weaknesses: rather large Summary: I have had the speakers for a few weeks now. The sound quality is excellent from low bass to high tenor notes.
