Strengths: Excellent tweeters. These speakers have an excellent high range. You'll notice an extreme difference in the clearness. Crisp highs.
Weaknesses: The woofer is pretty good down to about 70hz but any lower than that it becomes hard for it to handle. But what can you expect from a 5 1/4" woofer.
Summary: I have liked these speakers since the day I bought them. They look cool, sound good, and are decent on price. I am powering them with a small sony amp. They are very clear and can get very loud as long as you have a bass cut on them (head unit not bass blocker). I am very happy with these speakers and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for more treble and more clarity. They especially cut through the murk a normal speaker puts out with expert clarity. You feel like your in the music. Great speaker!

Strengths: The Infinity Kappa 52.7i have rich full bass sound with crystal clear highs. They take everything my amp puts out.
Weaknesses: none
Summary: 2008-08-23 09:44:24 The Infinity Kappa 52.7i speakers are the best speakers I've ever had in my car. I had JBL's in the front and when I heard these speakers, I moved the JBL's to the back. The Kappa's have a detailed crisp sound that cuts through. I'm thinking of getting another pair to replace the JBL's. I would highly recommend these speakers.

Strengths: Excellent midrange and highs
Weaknesses: None
Summary: These are a more inviting and warm speaker than the reference series, I could listen to these for hours when the reference series get a little fatiguing. I have always loved infinity car speakers and currently have these in the front doors and the reference series in the rear doors. They blend very well but the Kappa does outperform the reference in every way. The outboard crossover is a nice touch at this price point, keeps the sound very clean! I have this fed from a Nakamichi head unit and a Pioneer Premier 4 channel crossed at 100Hz.
