Strengths: Price, widescreen, high quality screen
Weaknesses: Cheap cables, no dvi cable, no high def for tv viewing, lag in changing channels
Summary: I am very happy with this monitor, lots of inputs. I've read a lot of reviews and I just want to point out things that I didn't find in other reviews. First off there is no DVI-cable, I read a few reviews debating this, it would have been nice for them to add one since the cables cost around $30 and up. The monitor also comes with a red/green/blue cable that hooks up to the monitor's vga port for dvd viewing, two things about this 1) it does not support a high def signal, so people who are thinking they can watch hdtv on this can't 2) the cable is very very cheap it broke the first time I pulled it out of my dvd player. Do not lose the remote control, you need it to change sources and change channels, which i think they could have changed. The screen looks great, but just know that if you do not have a video card in your computer it will not give you a "true full widescreen" what it does is display it with black bars on the left and right or you can strech the image to fit the screen. I think for the price it is a steal. I paid about $485 after shipping.

Strengths: Flat and small so it helpped me to save space. I can use my T.V. with this as a monitor giving me two monitors and two t.v.'s and I can connect my GameCube and Mini Disk Player!
Weaknesses: The T.V. part of it sucks for me because I can't really see anything clear so I have to get cable on this T.V./monitor. Should come with the wall mount. Could use a 19 inch model.
Summary: 2004-06-16 05:59:41 I love this product and so far it is great. It has everything that I was looking for in a monitor. I'm building a studio so I can just mount it and still use the other T.V. I have as a monitor/T.V. as well. For those that watch a lot of T.V., you can even use the P.I.P. (Picture in Picture) feature while you are surfing the net. With all the different connections that you can use I can't see someone not being able to really use this to their advantage.
