Strengths: Good voice clarity, compact size, convenient to expand number of additional handsets.
Weaknesses: Lacks signal light for voice mail.
Summary: 2007-03-08 13:46:13 I'm basically delighted with this phone. I've always had good experiences with Panasonic phones, and this is no different It's smaller than I expected, which makes the handset easy to keep in your pocket if you are walking away from the base unit. The sound quality is fine, and the range seems comparable to my previous 2.4 unit. I don't use the answerer, but use voice mail instead. Unfortunately this phone does not provide a signal light for this service. This is my only disappointment. Otherwise, it's a great unit.

Strengths: combination of great features for 2line
Weaknesses: no caller ID on base and doesn't handle distance.
Summary: It's a great phone with most features you need.

But, yes it's missing a caller ID on the base which is annoying when the handset is off the base and it's ringing or when you review the messages and you don't see who left this message. And it doesn't handle distance. If you want to talk far from the base I suggest youtry another company altogether. Panasonic is great for everything else but forget about distance.

Strengths: there is an answering machine for both lines. light phone. the base operates independently which give you in essence 2 phones.reception is clear, and even went across the street with no problem.
Weaknesses: no redial button on cordless.when the phone rings and you pick up the cordless out of the cradle, you still have to press the talk button to answser the phone. the ringer is a funny sound
Summary: overall, i enjoy the phone. i only have it a short time but the particular features that i was looking for, 2 lines, answering machine, speaker phone are all there, and the price was reasonable. it also has ability to listen to messages from handsets

Strengths: Two (2) Line, Distinctive Ring, Extendable to 8 handsets
Weaknesses: None as of yet
Summary: It was important to me to find a phone that had the Distinctive Ring capability built into the phone rather than depending on the Phone Co. itself. This unit has it. The range is also considerably further than I have experienced from other phones.

Strengths: Quality build, reception, functions, expandable
Weaknesses: Volume could be louder, problem with caller id
Summary: I purchased this phone based on the reliability I have seen from previous Panasonic phones I have owned. This phone really is a great phone my short take of it. The phone has good build quality and feels good in my hands. The reception is good and I can make clear calls at a distance from the base. Theres all sorts of programming that you can set up with the phone. What is great is that you can expand the unit with 8 handsets. That is really great for a small business.

My only real complaints with the phone is that I find the volume to be a little low. I always have the phone set on maximum yet I wish it could still be a bit louder. I also had issues with caller id not working with the handset.

Despite these minor complaints, I think this is a great phone and am satisfied with the purchase.
