Strengths: Price!
Weaknesses: n/a
Summary: Go compare price. But I went to find difference. I spent at least one hour in front of two with same size. The price, the name and the resolution was different. I ask the guy who sells them, to hook up both panels to same DVD and have been watching them closely. Some moments I had to replay just to see the difference.

And u know, it's so small so tiny in micro-moments, that I am not sure You'll be able to find it! My wife couldn't. So why pay more for just BIGGER RESOLUTION???

Now I am home. I got my HD cable box. And what? Regular TV channels are still in 'old' format. Not only quality of picture, but the size. It still in 4:3 - regular square TV format, but my plasma is wide screen, so I need to stretch them out to see in full size of screen. BULL.... But what u gonna do??? it takes them a couple of years to switch everyone to HDTV. Currently I have only 10 TRUE HD channels, but those ones are really worth it!!! The picture is great, clear like real one. I even had to reduse the brightness and colours to make it look right. I highly recommend, but do you own test.

3 Star ReviewMaxent 42" Plasma
Strengths: Price, inputs, easy to use, good resolution
Weaknesses: Overall Design, stand(base) design, remote design, standard definition
Summary: For the price, this is a very good TV, but there are some weaknesses. For example, the over design isn't very attractive, and the same can be said for its remote. One strong point though is that is provides several inputs including HDMI, Component, Composite, S-video, and D-sub computer input. It, however, does not have a DVI input. The menu is fairly easy to use and its resolution and picture quality are great. One main disadvantage is that this TV is standard definition so you will need an HDTV converter after the over-the-air signals have switched to high-definition. That is only true for over-the-air signals though so if you have a cable box or something, you should be fine.
