1 Star ReviewInsignia 8" Portable DVD player... Is it BAD? Or did I just get one of the LEMONS???
Strengths: PRICE
Weaknesses: REFUSES to play DVD's beyond about 30 - 45 minutes at a time.
Summary: I have YET to find ANY DVD that the player will play COMPLETELY WITHOUT either banging its head against the stops repeatedly or just going into PAUSE, and REFUSING to continue playing DVD

I've heard GOOD comments about the Insignia Portable DVD players... So MAYBE I just received one of the few LEMONS that nearly ALL brands occassionally let slip through quality control.

I may rate it higher after I find time to drive the 300 MILE round-trip to the nearest location to exchange this OBVIOUSLY DEFECTIVE player I got.
