 Basic capabilities for old turntables Strengths: small and inexpensive
Weaknesses: no volume control
Summary: picked this up as a backup when I got a turntable with preamp. Can now use it with an old turntable without a preamp. It works, but lacks a volume knob, which would allow it to be used with headphones. It still allows input into a computer system, where volume adjustment is possible, but real use now is just for ripping vinyl to wav or other lossless files.
