Strengths: Ease of use, straightforward results.
Weaknesses: Rather expensive.
Summary: Very easy to use - forget comparing lines! We moved to this test after a fertility doctor recommended these (although we aren't doing IVF, these are the tests they use for those patients). We'd been using the 2-line tests for a few months and *never* got a positive result - a CVS store brand and some others I got cheaper online, they are *around* $1 per test whereas these (CBE) are a minimum of $4 or so per test. If you are frustrated with the 2-line tests, the CBE digital is the best way to go as there are no lines to compare - you either get a circle or a smiley face! We even used the CBE and the 2-line test concurrently and when the CBE had a smiley face, the 2-line test was still showing what I would call a negative result, so that told me that the 2-line tests are too subjective.
The major downside of these is that they are expensive, a 7 pack is about $30 (just over $4 a test), and the test "holder" is reuseable, yet they don't sell "refills" of the actual test part (the pee part)?!?!?!? So you end up buying anothert pack, which contains another "holder" - it just seems like such a waste.
Ahh well, at least *this* test worked, which is more than I can say for the cheaper 2-line tests.
