Strengths: Strong Signal, even across the street, some 250 feet away in my son's home.
Weaknesses: D-Link's installation CD could have been a little smarter and account for the need to have Embarq's DSL modem configured into 'Bridge Mode' before beginning DIR-635's configuration.
Summary: Had to contact Embarq and D-Link with questions as to why my DIR-635 could not be configured initially. Embarq provided a quick response on how to put my DSL modem into 'Bridge Mode' after which re-running the D-Link installation CD promptly configured my DIR-635 Wireless Router.

Strengths: Faster connection speed and longer range transmission. Easy configuration.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Forget about the DLink DI 624 problems. This router is built as solid as the DLink DI 634M. Setup is very easy and simple as the emulator at the DLink web support. There is no VPN specific setup. Good for gaming, vedio, and voice streaming.

3 Star Reviewgood router with faster speed
Strengths: speed
Weaknesses: range is improved as advertised
Summary: I bought this router to replace DI-624 due to the size of my home. Di-624 is limited and often drops signal. I hoped this one would improve it. The speed is improved, often at 54 Mbps, but the coverage range improvement is as good as I would hope for.

Strengths: 1. faster speed compare to other similar wireless router product. 2. wider area cover as advertised! 3. strong signal.
Weaknesses: NONE so far!
Summary: The reason why I bought this router because it can cover wider area than other routers. And I tests it on my two-floors home. I set the router on the second floor and I can still receive very strong signal from it on the first floor. Very high speed, great stability, stylish design and easy of use. Although I spent a little bit time to set up its security. But overall, this is an excellent product! Highly recommend for big home owners.

btw: I don't have a chance to test its 802.11n technology yet because I don't a 802.11n wireless network card for my computer.

2 Star ReviewBelkin N1 Router, Belkin N1 Notebook Card
Strengths: Very nice styling on Router. Range is somewhat better than a "G" router.
Weaknesses: Have not been able to get the security features to operate at all in spite of several calls to Tech Support. A new Notebook Card was sent but did not fix the problem.
Summary: This does not seem to be a mature product. In addition to the inability to encrypt the wireless network, the supplied Belkin software for the router and notebook card do not work. Tech Support advises to install the router over the Web and the notebook card via the Windows Zero Config service.
