Weaknesses: The switch button, video support, manufacturer support
Summary: This product was ordered to aid in the upgrade of someone in the creative department from a Mac G4 to a Mac G5. The switch button stopped working the second day. When one of the machines went to sleep, no prodding of any input device would bring back the video signal - thank goodness there are dual inputs on the screen.
Emails to Belkin were responded to with 'Call Us' and when I did wait times were as long as 45 minutes, without answer. I cannot ask a department to 'stop working' because I am on the phone with support for a $40 item - that has been nothing but trouble.
Experiences like this seem to always happen when I am forced to use a Belkin product.
