Strengths: Big sound for the money @ $99, 12-29-04.
Weaknesses: Sounds a little brite and the box is bigger than I expected.
Summary: Now I know why they say the center speaker is the most important piece of your 5.1 theater system. I replaced a tiny center channel speaker that was part of a cheap Philips 5.1 mini system. Well worth the $99 I paid, the JBL will pay for itself in no time - it costs $55 for my family to go to a movie together. There are better, richer speakers, but not for the price. Adding the EC25 to my 10 inch sub and the cheap surrounds, I now have a killer system. When we watch a movie now, we don't have to ask "what did he say?"

Strengths: Sound Quality and Size
Weaknesses: none
Summary: This JBL speaker contains the most value for the money. It truly makes my home theater better. The size and weight also make it easy to mount with most different mounting options.

Strengths: great sounding center channel for the price
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I bought this speaker with 2 JBL E50 speakers to round out my 5.1 home theater. All the speakers are JBL. This center channel really brings out the dialog in dvds once I adjusted volume levels for all the speakers with my a/v receiver. JBL has made a very good product that sounds and looks great!
