Strengths: This hardware was simple to set up and has the capability to record (turn to digital) everything that I have thrown at it thusfar. The software has some cool utilities which make videos look awesome.
Weaknesses: I had some difficulty with installation of the software which was remedied after loading Win XP SP 2. Sorry for those still holding out (like me), but it worked.
Summary: 2005-04-25 18:17:43 The capabilities of this product are amazing. I was really thrilled at the ease of installation of the hardware. Even without the software provided, this "plate" has inputs and outputs which can be used with many programs. I had to struggle with the software for a while (installation), but once it was installed, I have to admit that it was really strong. I have not been through the book yet (300+ pages), but I'm sure it is well done. This is worth the premium over the 80 or 90 product.
