3 Star ReviewMotorola Skype headset
Strengths: Great sound. Godd reception
Weaknesses: none
Summary: This is a great headset that I use with my cell phone and my computer. I had some trouble initially setting up for use with Skype, but once I had it going it worked great.

Strengths: The head set works great with my Treo 650 and the computer when I am on the road using skype
Weaknesses: I wish the head set would change ears easier
Summary: I think this was a good buy. The head set works at good distances. I have only used the Blue tooth adapter once and it seems to work well. I WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME MORE VOLUME FROM THE head set

Strengths: - convenience - ease of installation and use - price, rel to other options in the market
Weaknesses: - had to install the software twice before it worked properly
Summary: Excellent product that has changed our communications experience forever. Since Skype does not work well on the computer that is connected through WiFe, this is the only way to achieve mobility. Absolute must!

2 Star ReviewGreat combination for most, but watch out for low volume
Strengths: Easy to set up synch with PC for Skype. Small, lightweight. Non invasive speaker that does not jab into the ear canal.
Weaknesses: Low volume. the same feature that makes it comfortable (a non invasive speaker) makes it low volume and the MAX volume setting is not enough.
Summary: This is great set for the Skype user.

UNLESS you use an IBM thinkpad. Then as Dante wrote, "Abandon all hope ye who enter here".

Essentially, its a great unit, but the volume is so low in a non-Cell Phone applications (such as this one for a PC/laptop using Skype), that if you have anything running in the background (A fan, refrigerator, or children), you wont be able to hear and neither will your correspondent on the other side of the "line".

The unit is sturdy enough, if you dont count the fact that the silver MOTOROLA logo/medallion (see picture .. it is surrounded by a blue light) fell off and was simply glued onto a non-flush screw.

In all, get the H500 by itself, use it with a bluetooth phone and forget the Skype ...

it's all hype...

Strengths: Fairly easy to set up. Easy to use. Sound quality is very good.
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: I really like this headset and adaptor. It is very easy to use and I like that I can now connect my cell phone and PDA to my laptop as well with the included adaptor.
