1 Star ReviewLG LFC25760SW Refrigerator
Strengths: None
Weaknesses: Total piece of junk. Do not buy!! I have had it repaired 4 times. Now there is another problem and LG says my 1 year warranty is up and they can't help me.
Summary: BUYER BEWARE!!!! Total piece of junk. Do not buy!! I have had this refrigerator barely over a year, had it repaired 4 times. New problem every time. Now it makes a really loud noise. LG says my 1 year warranty is up and they can't help me. Will never buy an LG product again.

3 Star ReviewLG French door refrigerator problem
Strengths: Love the design of the refrigerator part, and having the freezer on bottom!
Weaknesses: When you pull out the freezer drawer out and the ice is full, the ice spills out the back into the space under the drawer or onto the floor.
Summary: I am now replacing this refrigerator. The lightbulbs stayed on when the doors were closed over a period of time, unbeknownst to me. Result was a melted plastic control unit and liner and half a refrigerator of warm food. I am forced to use my extended warranty to buy a GE but will look for the same design.

Strengths: Everything: value for the money, quiet, efficient use of space, nice looking, Energy Star
Weaknesses: None yet.
Summary: 2007-07-09 18:48:56 I was in despair: the online reviews hated the competitor's similar fridge that Consumer Reports rated highly and it seemed that I couldn't find a single review of any fridge that didn't lament failed condensers and broken ice makers.

Then we read reviews for this LG refrigerator and went to Best Buy to see it in person. It has all the features I wanted from the competitor (like that giant drawer that holds a whole pizza box or platter) and it got high marks for durability.

Now that it's installed, I can't rave enough. It's *extremely* quiet and it uses space so much more efficiently than our old side-by-side that it took everything we had in the old fridge with ample room to spare. And it's about $1,000 cheaper than the competitor.

We decided that in-door ice and water weren't worth the $800 and went with the auto icemaker in the freezer, which saves a LOT of room in the fridge.

A definite buy!
