Strengths: Extremely comfortable to use, plenty of buttons, wireless does not suffer from interference issues, USB receiver is extremely compact.
Weaknesses: "Smart" features are incompatible with some commonly-used programs, such as AIM and Thunderbird. USB receiver is incredibly small, so misplacing it during transportation may be an issue.
Summary: "Handed" mice have been around for years, and many people have grown to appreciate them. Well, I take that back. RIGHT-HANDED people have grown to appreciate them, since apparently many companies would prefer that we lefties simply use one-size-fits-all mice like good little consumers rather than something that's actually designed for us. Just go to your local technology store and take a look around, and you'll see what I mean; nearly all of the high-end mice are right-handed, and most of the more expensive keyboard/mouse combo sets include a righty mouse.
Thankfully, Logitech has recognized that there are in fact many left-handed people out there who use computers. Shocking, I know. What's more, many of these southpaws, like myself, don't want to have to use "one-size-fits-all" products when righties get to use a multitude of mice, designed exclusively for their hand type, which almost always have more features than their ambidextrous counterparts. So with a simple ergonomic shuffle of their MX 610 mouse, Logitech created this model to cater to the lefty market.
And cater it does.
Sporting a multitude of buttons, a wireless laser interface, and an ergonomically designed shape, this mouse is almost everything the left-handed computer user could ask for. It's great for everyday use and excellent for gaming because of its accuracy and extra buttons, and even better for long sessions because of its comfortable shape and rubberized sides which help maintain a firm grip. I have yet to experience any interference issues, and my computer is right next to various wireless devices.
I say it's ALMOST everything a lefty could want because it does have a few flaws that I feel I should point out. First, the USB receiver may be a bit TOO small and easy to lose if you're transporting it; take care that you don't misplace it. Also, the e-mail notification button and IM notification button suffer from incompatibilities with popular programs such as Thunderbird for e-mail and AIM for instant messaging, so you'll need to keep that in mind.
Still, even with its issues, I'd only deduct half a star from its rating. My overall rating of the left-handed Logitech MX 610 is 4.5/5, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to any lefty looking for a terrific mouse to use. Once you get a taste of the ergonomic comfort that righties have had in spades for years now, you won't want to go back.

Strengths: Tons of programmable buttons, Email & IM indicators, Ergonomic Design.
Weaknesses: Short Battery Life.
Summary: After I found myself using a mouse with my laptop more frequently, and for much longer durations, I decided to get something more comfortable than my current Targus mini mouse. Since I was already using a Logitech wireless desktop at home (both mouse and keyboard), I decided to opt for the same brand for a new mouse too - and I am glad I did. This mouse is absolutely comfortable to use for long durations, and has tons of great features, including programmable buttons and Email/IM indicators. The only bad thing is that it uses 2 batteries, which only last about 2-3 weeks.

crappier than poop
Strengths: ahhhhh, wireless?
Weaknesses: wireless
Summary: Well it worked for 2 days, then it would have a problem reading from the mouse to the wireless detector. Then it would fix itself for a while and then F up again later. When ur a gamer, this is a huge problem. I also had to change the batteries every 2 weeks. My brother has a microsoft intellimouse and it never has problems. Finally after a night of drinking and trying to play half life 2, it began doing it for the last time, you see, i smashed it in the middle of the street. F you logitech, and F u wireless mouses.

logitech mouse
Strengths: price
Weaknesses: cheap quality
reception
battery
Summary: i guess if you're left handed, it's probably one the better ones out there. there's really not much to choose from. but base on the quality of it, the constant lagg that occurs is really annoying. it's fairly light which is not really that comfortable to me. battery life is normal. it looks nice and that's all i can really give it.

Strengths: The extra buttons to browse through web pages. Good battery life
Weaknesses: Range on the wireless isn't as long as I expected
Summary: Logitech mouse are everything you can ask for. They find ways to make the every day use of a mouse even quicker. The extra buttons I thought were going to be a pain to use, but it ended up making my normal web broswing go much quicker.

Strengths: The only left-hand mouse that has all the powerful buttons and shape which are previously only available for the right-hand mouse.
If you want a lighter mouse, it can work with only one AA battery.
Weaknesses: A little small for my hand. Prefer larger one like the mx510.
Summary: This is my first cordless mouse, and I the freedom. Although some reviewers said the mouse is jumpy, but I think it's ok for office application. Maybe it's because the default speed setting is too fast.
PS. The image showed on the web is for right-hand mouse.

Strengths: Very accurate, many programable buttons .Good fit.
Weaknesses: Quircky software ,occasional hangup.
Summary: 2006-07-22 10:50:23 This mouse greatest strength is that it is a lefthand mouse.Very few left hand devices are available.Generally speaking it is very good except to an occasional hangup which seems to be caused by a software glitch . I talked to Logitech tech support and they concur that it is a software problem and suggested a "booting clean " software to be installed prior to the re-installation of the driver. The jury is still out on this issue.
