Strengths: Picture quality and sound
Weaknesses: Needs a better remote!!!
Summary: I have had this TV for almost a year and its absolutely perfect. I even paid around $1200 for it. It is definitly worth $1200!!! I don't know what ppl are talking about saying it doesn't have good picture quality. DVD's look AMAZING! Better yet, my xbox360 looks absolutely stunning! I also have Dish Network HD package and I have yet to find any flaws with it. The TV automatically sets itself to Widescreen (there is only full, zoom, gray scale, and normal). The FULL setting is the widescreen, it automatically adjusts. So don't believe ppl that say it doesn't do widescreen, when it does. Trust me, NFL games have never looked better. :)
This TV is an absolute steal for this low of a price.

Not happy with purchase
Strengths: Looks good when turned off
Weaknesses: Stoppes working after 10 months
Summary: My Soyo 32" LCD tv worked for only 10 months then stopped, I set back for warranty work. Worked 2 weeks then stopped again. Very disappointed. I write back and let you know if I get decent service and support this time.

SOYO TV's are JUNK!
Strengths: Very attractive tv;s
Weaknesses: Specifications are false. No true widescreen capability.
Summary: 2006-06-14 10:13:30 I had a Soyo DYLT032D 32" LCD TV and a Soyo DYLT032B 32" LCD TV. Both TV's are glamorized junk. The Features and specifications advertised are phony. Both are advertised as 16:9 widescreen. Yes, the TV's have a 16:9 widescreen shape but they do not have widescreen image display. The 32D is advertised as having display features of widescreen. Only upon receipt, the TV only display and the manual only stated full screen, fill screen and zoom. No widescreen function. The DVD images are very poor in both TV's. The regular channels are okay in 4:3, otherwise the images are grossly distorted. The HD feature is a joke in both tv's. The Tv's have seizures bascially trying to transition to 1080i format. Then the images are very small. The 32B does have a feature on the TV and in the manual labelled widescreen unlike the 32D. However, that is the extent of the widescreen feature. It is bascially non-exsistent. Soyo's version of widescreen zooming the full screen to fill the 16:9 format. You don't see more movie just bigger images . Bigger bloated distorted images. They are Very nice looking TV's if you don't turn them on. In summary, the regular channels are okay. The HD images are poor, the DVD images are terrible, and neither TV has true widescreen. After buying 4 LCD TV's and having to return them all due to very poor performance I bought a CRT HD and it works great. So unless you're ready to pay two grand plus for a LCD. Even then you probably wont get what you pay for. As I have learned the performance isn't great on any of them and specifications don't mean a thing. Don't buy on specs alone. You have to bring the TV home and check out the performance. Whatever you do make sure it's returnable!!!!!! MFG warranties are usually not honored in terms of refunds.

Strengths: NA
Weaknesses: When watching a DVD the sound quality is a bit tinny and can not be adjusted, but outside of that I have had no real complaints with this TV.
Summary: Before buying a LCD TV know the difference between HD, DVI, and HDMI technology. Know what type of equipment you are hooking your LCD TV up to and one work of caution “Don’t expect the highest quality picture from any LCD if you don’t know what each technology provides.” Granted, we had the 26” RCA before the SOYO was finally delivered to the house, but there were a lot of things I was not impressed with about that TV or their support. I guess it all comes down to personal preference and what you are willing to pay. For me I decided on the SOYO for several reasons. Picture quality, ease of use, ms refreshes time, and resolution; any TV you buy which is LCD or Plasma will have different features and support that others will not have. That’s what makes them all different otherwise they would all have the same name and be made by same company. I guess it gets down to how much you are willing to pay for all the features and bell’s and whistles; for me, we just needed another TV and wanted to get the best bang for the buck.
So would I buy this TV again?
Yes I would! For the money this is the best buy out there for what we were willing to spend on another TV; now if you are willing to spend more than we were you will get a better TV. But we were not willing to spend $2,000- $3,000 on a LCD TV; I know there are a lot of people who can and will spend that much on a TV, but we were not willing to spend that at this time. As for aspect ratio, and LCD you buy will only support the higher aspect ratios if the box you are plugging it into will support it. All LCD and Plasma manufactures tell you the same thing. You will not get the highest aspect ratio possible plugging this TV into your cable box or satellite system if you don’t know the difference between (HD, DVI, or HDMI) and besides most your boxes out there will not support anything as high as these TV’s offer in aspect ratios. Granted, I could buy a TV tuner card and hook it to my computer and watch TV from my computer and get a higher quality picture, but again who has the money to spend on a high end video card or has a computer they can put in their TV room to just watch a TV program.
The lesson I have learned through all of this is, any LCD TV you get will only give you the aspect ration and picture quality that your cable provider can give you at this time. I really believe whether I bought a $2,000 LCD TV or a $600.00 LCD TV the picture quality for both TV’s would have been the same if my cable TV provider can not push through any better quality with the boxes they provide. Plus if you don’t know the difference between the technology and connectors you will never get a better picture quality for any of the LCD’s unless you hook it up to your PC and watch TV from your computers. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of this TV.

DYLT032D 32" LCD TV (16:9, 1366x768, 1200:1, HDTV)
Strengths: Beautiful looking LCD TV. Easy to use controls very user friendly set-up and operation.
Weaknesses: Picture quality(the most important aspect of a TV)!
Summary: Overall, for the money not a bad buy. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this TV and most of them said well worth the money and great picture quality, I find the picture quality to be not very good at all. I have adjusted the setting and still have just an OK picture but I guess I should have expected that for the price of this TV.

Strengths: picture quality
Weaknesses: none
Summary: recently purchased this tv as a gift for christmas. needless to say, I was very impressed with the purchase. I am now searching for another one for someone else as a gift. Just as my Viziio, Insignia< and Samsung HD tv's in my home, I do run into problems with the tv whenever comcast acts crazy. But I personally think it worked for me and is currently doing a bang-up job for my mom.
