Weaknesses: Bigger than we expected, and when we pressed the up arrow, the cork went down. Summary: This is an excellent tool for easily opening wine bottles, even though it's at least a foot tall, but it's light weight. I bought this as a gift for my dad, but we didn't read the directions before testing it, so we thought the up arrow meant it would pull the cork up, but it went down and fell into the wine. Both my husband and I comment nearly every time we use it, about how great it is; and it is something we can't wait to buy for our friends and relatives for their birthdays, Christmas, weddings, etc. We have never experienced any problems with it. It's great for anyone; but especially for people who don't have a lot of hand strength, or have arthritis, or just simply don't like the hassle of opening wine with a regular opener. 100% of People (2/2) found this review helpful. She's the wine drinker and I'm the gadget guy. It was more a novelty for me that turned out a winner. It works. Doesn't split the cork or leave little corkette pieces floating in the bottle. It's rechargable so no need to buy gas refills. As a side benefit, this really comes in handy if you're artritic or have any other type of ailment of the hands and wrist. Once charged you can transport and use at other loctions I.E. Tail gating at games. Have two friends who have this product and also are very satisified.
