Strengths: DVI, Easy Installation, Great Graphics
Weaknesses: none
Summary: This is not one of the best but it is great video card if you are not big gamer. I play movies on my computer and gives great picture. This video card does not have cooling fan on it but it has a heatsink attached to it without a fan. The card does not get very hot, so this cooling device is quite efficient and sufficient for this card.

Strengths: Runs strong, fast, for the price, it is amazing. You can easily run any game out, even FEAR or WoW!
Weaknesses: On my Television, which is my second monitor, it refuses to go full screen. All other dual screen cards will give me a full screen.
Summary: I ran a heavy animation render test with lots of raytracing, lighting, glass, mirrors etc. and the animation rendered 11 minutes faster. 34 minutes on the old card and 23 on the new card.

3 Star Reviewrelatively fast, quiet, good for quiet PC
Strengths: quiet, good speed for occational gaming.
Weaknesses: not the fastest, crashs when it gets too hot?
Summary: 2006-07-24 22:05:35 I got this card for one reason and one reason only: passive cooling and quietness. And it served its purpose.

Let's face it. It is not the fastest. Nor is it the slowest. I am not a avid gamer, so the raw power of the 7600GT or 7800 series does not matter to me. Besides, those massive heatsinks and loud fans annoys me to no end.

I am replacing my 6800 with this purely for the noise reason. And the difference is very noticable. So if you are looking to build a quiet pc, I would recommend it.

Also, if you are going to build a home theater PC, this would be good choice as well. My brother use the same one for this very reason.

Update: After a week, I am surprised to find that the card does have some kicks to it. Pretty decent at gaming.

Sweet.

UPDATE: I bought this card because of the $40 rebate promotion by eVGA. However, I got a notice today saying that my rebate is rejected due to "invalid serial number".

WTF, it is cut out from the freaking box and somehow it is invalid?!!! That is total BS. I am not going to take this lightly.

UPDATE 2: I called customer service and I got my $$ back yesterday. As such, I am restoring some stars back. But I have been noticing that when I have been playing graphic intensive games, and the room gets too hot, my PC tends to crash. Is the video card's fault? I don't know. But I do think the temperture does affect it.

Strengths: Great picture. High compatibility. Analog and digital connectors.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Video board has both analog and digital connectors so board should be compatible with any current monitors. The picture is very good and I have had no complications with any programs, although I don't play too many games but Civ 4 looks awesome.

Highly recommend this board

3 Star ReviewDoes quiet mean fewer compromises?
Strengths: Fanless, 7 series nvidia chipset (purevideo), vista ok
Weaknesses: Mediocore performance when pushed--FPS titles stay away, runs HOT (55 C), purevideo is $20, a little unstable after GPU core is pushed-artifacts out of the blue when exiting game
Summary: It's quiet and gives you respectable performance:

Fanless with a pretty good heatink and with a 7 series nvidia GPU. I was looking for something that would give me ~50FPS in WoW at 1680x1050 at max details, since that was the only game I need to run. Other than that, I wanted something that could give me some occasional video enhancements which purevideo offered but for a price. It works for my specific purpose.

However, it runs really hot in comparison to video cards with fans. In a comparison with a x1600pro, the average normal operating temperature is 50+ C. Purevideo costs money, whereas AVIVO costs nothing. Also, sometimes when I exit out of WoW, I can get crazy artifacts that require a reboot. Maybe it was a hot day in the room, but just becareful.

But in the end, because the 7600GPU squeezes more performance out of WoW for me at that resolution than a x1600pro, I am happy with it. But for those who value video enhancement, then I think free AVIVO works better pricewise than purevideo. Check out the x1600pro then.

Strengths: Excellent Card with Dual Monitor Support
Weaknesses: Dose not have 2 DVI for two monitors
Summary: I bough this card for some 3D graphic work at job. This card gives excellent results. And I do think that heatsink with fan or with plain heatsink will make much difference. I had touch the heatsink with bare hands after runing it for hours together and to my surprise it was not at all hot. Anyway this is good graphics card.
