Strengths: Inexpensive unit but good picture quality; simple to use; divx works on most files that I have; dts and dolby surround compatible Weaknesses: Remote control feels a bit too cheap Summary: The best part of this DVD/VCR combo player is the picture quality of DVD discs and VHS tapes that you get. The divx playback works on many of my burned DVD discs. It has both DTS and Dolby Surround. I got a new unit under $80.00, and I consider it a good purchase.
