Strengths: very good cynchronization with desktop or laptop computers under Windows OS.

Weaknesses: Difficult to call or receive calls while driving

Summary: Before this phone I had Sony Ericsson M600i. Very good phone but not very good pocket PC. For me the main problem was synchronization of phone data with my desktop PC (contacts, calendar, tasks, notes and some files). I think if the OS will be changed from Symbian to Windows Mobile. HTC 8125 does very good synchronization but one of disadvantages is that it is difficult to use the phone while driving.

Strengths: WIFI! Great signal strength Ability to have several email accounts

Weaknesses: tough to see screen in the sun light hard to find a store in my area that had one. Had to go to St. Louis to get one.

Summary: I have had this pocket pc for a short time, and the learning curve has been relatively short. I had a Treo 650 before it for several months and loved it. I wanted to have the ability to get wifi versus the slow edge network so I went to the 8125. It was the right choice. The edge network seems to work much faster on this phone. I highly recommend it to the professional on the go.

Nice unit but has needs

Strengths: Size and expanding keyboard are helpful as well as the screen going from veritcal to horizontal

Weaknesses: Software and visibility

Summary: This is a nice unit but has some shortcomings in that the screen is a lot harder to see than the Treo 650 which I also have. I find the volume of the speaker very weak. It is too bad they chose to use Microsoft software instead of Palm but it works and makes it easy to sync to XP. I'd like some of the software to be removable but as is the case with Microsoft, you get things jammed down your throat whether you want it or not.

Over all Preety Good

Strengths: Easy to Sync, Great Key Board, lots of capabilities, very durable i have droped it a couple times and it keeps ticking

Weaknesses: occasionaly freezes, sometimes it thinks it doesnt have a signal but if turned off and restarted it finds it,

Summary: this was my first PDA, and i have enjoyed having it alot but i dont understand why cingular charges even when you are connected to your home internet service. additionaly the occasional freezing is a big pain. overall its a preety good pda/phone and it has helped me alot. the screen like others said is hard to see occasionaly and i wish they would make the start screen icons more finger touch compatible.

8525 Cell Phone (GSM, Bluetooth, 1.3 MP, miniSD)

Strengths: Wi-fi, easy typing, lots of features

Weaknesses: cannot make changes on names stored in card

Summary: Good phone, will recommend, lots of features. Takes a while to get familiar with all functions. Callers complaint that they don't hear me well sometimes, gotta talk a little louder.
