Strengths: nice picture if the image is not changing quickly
Weaknesses: humming noise from fans and horrible blurring when images are changing quickly. cannot be used for watching sports.
Summary: overall quality is low. but the price is also low. so you get what you pay for. has lots of great image features. the sound is good. the quality is perfect for some types of movies (not action movies) and general tv viewing. Not recommended for action movies or sports.

The reader should know that this is my first hd tv. It could be that all hd tvs are like this. I intend to return this and try something else.
