Weaknesses: So light it can be knocked over by the AC cord, USB or almost anything. Small for big hands. Sreen has to be open/ turned out to record. Summary: No tapes! Amazing camera, weighs nothing. Careful when downloading video, the cable can easily cause it to move. I am tall & the camera is slightly smaller than I would like. But you barely notice you are holding it. You can almost fit it into your jacket pocket. The hard drive automatically goes to the next available free space, you never over record by mistake. You notice slight pixelation when moving the camera quickly between shots. Software was easy to install, connect, & use. The zoom is very responsive. The stock battery is slightly short lived, get the biggest they make. The DC input is located on top of the camera, never seen it there and don't know if its useful. jdmrknight from OK Member Since: Mar 2004 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 2 Weeks	I'll Stick with the Old Way Strengths: Easy to transfer videos to your hard drive and burn dvd's Weaknesses: Video wasn't very clear to us Summary: I purchased this because I was tired of transferring my 8mm tapes through my video capture card to my computer and stopping and starting the tape at the correct places. I wanted something that I could just hook up to my computer via USB and drag and drop. That worked fine with the recorder but the video wasn't as clear as I was expecting. There is nothing wrong with our old camcorder, I was just wanting to make transferring easier. However, when zooming in during filming, it is very shakey. It also took long to focus. During the night time filming, I could not see anything. The battery life is short.
