Strengths: Built tough, and conducts an ultra-clean signal!
Weaknesses: Can't merge two signals.
Summary: I initially purchased the Planet Waves 1/4" Male Mono to Dual 1/4" Jack Adapter (Item #PW-P047U), to join two signals on my pedalboard. However, I ran into phasing and picked up an ART PowerMIX I for this. This adapter will still get excellent use as a splitter, though. It's durable, provides a great connection, and produces no noise. The gold-plated connections also guard against the corrosion that other metals are prone to, and the double-insulated/double-shielded cables stop hum and triboelectric noise dead in its tracks! I own and use over 50 Planet Waves cables of various types for performing and recording, and they deliver an awesome signal! Planet Waves guarantees all of its cables for life, and they're built to last a lifetime! These cables are well-worth the investment!
