Strengths: Mouse has a great feel laser accuracy
and customisable buttons (and an off switch).
Configurable keys and a display and calculator.
Rechargeable mouse.
Weaknesses: Laptop feel of keyboard keys
rearrangement of navigation keys (ins, del, home, end, page up/down)
no num lock key
Change of the media controls from buttons and a knob for volume to touch controls
Summary: Unlike quite a few others in here I have none of the problems they seem to have experienced. The keyboard works as soon as I switch the computer on and unlike some I can use it to access the BIOS settings (do not require another keyboard for this). I have just changed from using a Logitech MX Duo combination which did give me some connection issues. This one has not so far. It was extremely easy to get the connection working when first plugged in for both mouse and keyboard and software installation went off without any problems. The Setpoint software does seem more configurable than the previous software I used (iTouch and Mouseware). It also had no trouble finding and pairing with my Motorola Maxx v6 bluetooth phone. On the downside the Setpoint software is absolutely huge. The inclusion of off/on switches for both keyboard and mouse is a nice touch. I have often wanted to switch previous mouses off to save battery power although I have not had problems with keyboard battery life. I don't know if the mouse has replaceable batteries like the old mouse I had. I should open it up and see. It's a shame one can't reconfigure the "smart keys" as one can the rest of the function keys and I don't like the touch sensitive stuff or the nav key arrangement (I'm sure I'll adjust) but beyond that it seems like a another quality Logitech product. I would however like to know where the keyboard/software gets it's temperature information. It is not even close to being correct. Is it a builtin sensor or it is an online source? I would like to be able to change this online source if the case. Was given to me by a friend so I won't comment on it's performance for price but it is a quite expensive keyboard/mouse combo but rock solid quality.
