Strengths: Excellent concept, Very easy to setup and use,
Weaknesses: some buttons are liitle tiny,Battery needs to be charged on a daily basis if you use it frequently
Summary: First things first, it replaced 6 remotes at my home.This thing will work for just about anything that uses IR. It can learn anything you want it to learn, from the item's original remote. The setup was a breeze. I already selected the model numbers of TV/PVR/DVD-VCR/Satellite reciever,Home Theater, Mini CD/radio system even before I received the remote control from the vendor and saved it my user profile, Downloaded the latest software from the the logitech website. When I received the remote charged it overnight,connected it with the computer using the USB cable provided,downloaded the software and voila it was ready to go. Simply the best remote I have used so far. I customized the buttons on the remote and also set up various activities. It has a learning function and it can learn IR codes and you can map buttons as well. the lcd screen buttons can be mapped and named. This is a very cool feature. Also looks like logitech has rectified the charger problem. Only cons: Some buttons on the remote are tiny and will require some days to get used to it,not a big deal It uses a proprietary battery and since the harmony has a color LCD it drains the battery if you use it frequently. So you need to charge it.
