Summary: I was VERY pleased with this purchase. This system (with a 2 year guarantee) offers very good sound for a computer system at a reasonable price. The cabinet is well built with a metal mesh screen while the sattelite speakers have a cloth grill covering the speakers. Well designed, looks good, and the sound is very good for its intended use. Do not spend more than between 20 and 35 dollars on these and you will have done well. Do not spend more on another system unless you are very picky about the sound. I did not find the bass an issue - sound was pleasing to me. Controls are well thought out and easy to use. Good product and recommended.
