3 Star Reviewconvenient mouse
Strengths: basic 2 button scroll mouse
Weaknesses: perhaps size, no on off switch
Summary: I would not use this mouse as a desktop mouse but for laptop use on the road its great. Usb receiver fits into the mouse so you likely won't lose it or forget to put it in the mouse when you are finished. It takes 1 double A battery which seems to last a long time which is useful. It feels good in the hand but will cramp your hand if you use it for extended periods. Its is an optical mouse not a laser so it may have problems with glossy reflective surfaces. Having said that I would recommend it for infrequent road use with a larger more user friendly (ie more buttons) mouse for home use.

3 Star Reviewcompact mouse but feels sturdy
Strengths: simple elegant well designed mouse
Weaknesses: little on small side, pads on bottom could be smoother
Summary: Good mouse for the laptop case so you dont have to drag around your desktop mouse. Built in usb is a plus although its odd shape may interfere with other usb plug in devices. Tilt wheel 2 button mouse is sufficient for road work. One AA battery lasts a long time. Paid $10 October 200.

2 Star ReviewWorth what I paid
Strengths: Small, easy installation, price, size/feel
Weaknesses: Very POOR tracking at times even on mouspads. Rubber grips seem to rub, glider feet don't seem to be thick enough.
Summary: Considering that this mouse for me will be almost free after rebate I can't really complain much but I have a few comments. The mouse at times seems to "freak out" and not respond smoothly. It is almost like only 1/2 of the data packets are reaching the receiver. Also, sometimes the mouse will not work right on my mousepad (which I have no problems with my desktop optical mouse). It seems to prefer a lighter color smooth surface. Unless your mousepad is perfectly smooth, the edges of the mouse seem to catch and hinder the movement. Also sometimes the first "click" is not registered and I either have to click twice for a single click or move the mouse a bit then click. I'm not sure why some days the mouse works great, but at times I just use my laptop's built in min-joystick/pointer.

It's quite possible I have a defective model, I purchased a second one for my wife because they were so cheap but she hasn't opened hers yet.
