Strengths: Component Output, Digital Optical Output, Dolby Digital and One of the best remotes out there for such an inexpensive device.
Weaknesses: Does not remember favorites and turbo settings when power goes out.

Excellent picture from my oval twin LNB Dish. Component Output to my WEGA is beautiful.
Functionality
Sony could take some lessons from LG Electronics and Hughes. The program guide, IR out to record, search aids, and all of the functions do both of these manufactures proud. This unit also has simultaneous video outputs via component, composite, S Video, and RCA. Audio outputs include stereo and Dolby Digital Optical Output.
Conclusion
Great product for an unbelievable price (US$55). I recently bought a Sony TV and it does not have half the functionality, input/outputs, or a remote that could compare with this hughes unit.
