Strengths: Picture quality is amazing. The viewing angle...If you can see any part of the front of the TV, you can see the whole picture in high quality. Sony got this one right including the PC Hookup.
Weaknesses: No up and down pivote on the included desktop stand.
Summary: Outstanding quality for any viewing pleasure, including PC use. Worth the upgrade in price. 178 degree viewing angle is no joke. Purchased at ultimate electronics to avoid hassle with on-line retailers.

Strengths: ease of use of on screen menu
Weaknesses: none
Summary: 2006-04-20 17:32:31 just received the product and hurriedly set it up. SO SIMPLE. It came with a quick guide for setup--using pictures...turned it on and WOW! Great picture quality and sound. There was no need to read the instruction booklet...the on screen menu was so easy to navigate...and you are on your way. Very light weight compared to conventional TV's. Stand was pre-attached by manufacturer. Only two cables to attach for use with DVD (besides the power cord and cable coaxial). You would need to purchase cable for DVD player hookup...I suggest waiting until you receive the product to see which cables are needed for your situation. Instruction booklet is very explicit for these connections.

Strengths: Picture Quality, BRAVIA, High quality sound, Installed ATSC Tuner, Easy connectivity to PS2, XBOX and Laptops
Weaknesses: Expensive than similar products, Remote controller and subtitle option
Summary: 2006-07-05 20:10:58 I am using this product for 2 months. I am really happy with that. It has great colors and picture quality. HDTV is also provided. I really surprised when I connected my laptop to this SONY. It has a extraordinary view, you can work on word documents easily, and you can use the internet in an amazing way. My only negative feedback is simple and badly designed remote controller and the subtitle option of the TV. There is no automated subtitle obtion for this TV. However I recommend strongly and I wish I can buy this HDTV in previous times.

Strengths: More vivid colors, and much better blacks on digital signal. simple setup, simple remote to understand, picks up some Comcast digital and HD channels.
Weaknesses: Analog picture on non-digital channels is poor than regular tube TV. Sounds are very week, need to install additional external speakers.
Summary: I watch a lot of TV shows on DVD, and you'll get about the equivalent of a 27" square TV when you view 4:3 material on this set. There's a few zoom options you can use to stretch or crop the image to take up the entire display, but I like seeing the show as it was originally presented.

Physically, the remote control is pretty cut-down and cheap-looking and feeling compared to previous Sony remotes. However, the button layout is simple and Sony has simplified the TV's internal menus and sped up navigation, which makes for a more pleasant user experience. I especially appreciated the drop-down listing of all the TV's inputs, from which you can just scroll to and select the one you want.

Speaking of inputs, the KDL-32S2000 has a nice assortment, my only wish is for one additional HDMI input. The jacks on the component inputs are a tiny bit closer together than on my other TVs, and some Monster cables I had with big fat plugs had some trouble fitting in without rubbing on each other. This is more a cable problem than a TV problem, as all other cables I tried had sufficient clearance.

If the analog picture and sound was better, I would have given it 5 stars.

Strengths: Excellent picture quality. Easy to setup straight out of the box. Good sound from speakers.
Weaknesses: No PIP, but overall none so far.
Summary: The Sony Bravia 32" LCD HDTV picture quality is amazing. Clear and Crisp. It would have been even better if Sony included PIP with this unit. So far, I haven't had any problems with this TV. I have spent over a month shopping for TV's and found this model to be worth the price.

Strengths: Wide selection of inputs, excellent picture quality, nice finish
Weaknesses: No PIP, takes time to switch between inputs
Summary: This TV has all the inputs you can have these days: HDMI, Component, S-Video, Composite, VGA. Only wish it has more than 1 HDMI input for DVR/cable box as well as DVD player. Absolutely amazed by the picture quality from every input: HD/standard TV programs, DVD player, PC, etc. The only negative I can think of is lack of PIP which I normally don't use but nice to have when you need it.

Strengths: Better quality picture over similar LCD TV.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: I wanted something light, not too big, has HDMI, component as well as VGA input. Something that won't break my bank account, have better quality than the average and definitely a branded name should I need services on it. So far, I have not been disappointed with this product, after all, I have spent more than two weeks shopping for it.

Strengths: Ease of setup, clarity of picture, ability to view wide angle movies and sports.
Weaknesses: No difference between regular and HD TV
Summary: 2006-08-14 11:42:47 I could not believe how easy it was to "install" this TV. I had the HD box from my cable co. and 10 minutes later and a few wires and I was watching it. It is lightweight, clear, has very good color and is a pleasure to view. The only problem I have is that I see no difference between HD and regular TV.

Strengths: Great clarity in picture and decent sound. Good viewing Angle. It has 2 S Video cable so easy to hookup computer. It has PC port as well for high resolution.
Weaknesses: Table top stand does not go up and down. Remote Control is not that great but u can use universal remote though. It does not have any ports on the front side.
Summary: Overall, Pretty satisfied with Sony Television and I would recommend it to others. I compared couple of TVs of Samsung and sharp with this Sony TV and I like picture clarity of Sony best. Also it has PC port so you can just plug the laptop and watch live streaming videos with clarity as S video with compromise clarity.
