Strengths: Excellent sound. Compact. Can be used as flash drive. Don't need to carry any cables to plug into most computers.
Weaknesses: Doesn't have a backlight. Can't replace batteries when they die while away from computer (eg: camping). Choice of colour limited to indicate storage capacity.
Summary: 2006-09-30 22:55:59 I take this player with me just about everywhere I go. It may not have an FM radio or voice recorder but it's an excellent player with good sound volume.
Simular models are:
M1001GB Black 1GB
M100512 Blue 512MB
M100256 Red 256MB
*** UPDATE ***
After having this MP3 player for about 9 months, it suddenly quit on me for reasons unknown yesterday, however the store did make good on the warrenty and let me exchange it for a new MP3 player. I ended up with an RCA Lyra model MC3001 which is just as nice and has a radio and voice recorder and LED instead of backlight. I still think it was a great MP3 player.
