Strengths: Screen size perfect.
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: I love this camera it is light weight, easy to use and I just had to get the 1gb memory card to get the full use of it resolution. The price was right also. As a matter of fact I ended up purchasing a second one for my son.

Strengths: big lcd screen and small size. automatic iso speed settings. great for taking pictures in the dark - sightseeing, bars, nightclubs, etc. built-in video games make traveling, commuting fun.
Weaknesses: battery life is good, but nicer if it was more extended. i have a 2 gig memory card and taking pictures at the highest quality settings with flash i can only fill up under 512mb before recharging it
Summary: I previously owned a Fuji 3800 FinePix camera which also took fantastic pictures. but because of it's SLR-like size i found the camera incredibly inconvenient to travel with. after a while i just did not want to use it anymore. the new Fuji v10 i purchased cost less than 200 dollars and is easily my favorite camera purchase ever. it's portable. on new years eve i carried it inside the inner pocket of a sport blazer i was wearing and it felt light. i was able to dance with it and take pictures in the nightclub i was at. all my pictures came out sharp and colorful. after this experience i was sold that this is the best camera purchase ever. to be able to capture special moments with friends at venues despite the lack of lighting is priceless. my friends have super compact size Casio digital cameras which are smaller in size, and they are unable to take pictures in the dark with flash. the pictures come out blurry or just black. the v10 has none of those flaws, the flash is powerful. also there is a special setting where you can take "double-shots" one version of a photo with flash and one-without. useful for people like me who have large memory cards and plenty of space to spare. get this camera. you will love it too.

Strengths: Big Screen, high Quality Pictures, very portable
Weaknesses: slick- can fall into water if not holding on with wrist strap
Summary: This camera has been really wonderful. Its compact and can be taken to any event I go to. Have had no problems with it yet, my last Fuji was of a similar shape and I dropped it into water. Hopefully this one has better fate!

Strengths: camera size, LCD size
Weaknesses: less popular XD slot
Summary: The most attracting thing with the digital camera with its small overall size and big LCD size. The big LCD screen on the back helps one watch easily and clearly. The overall small size make it easy to carry with. It even fit if you put the DC onto your keychain. And the small size does not affect the good performance with 5.3 megapixel and 3.4 optical zoom.

Strengths: Very small camera; Very big screen;
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: This ultra compact camera is very useful and fun to use. I use this camera all the time since it is so portable. The picture is slightly lower quality than the Canon SD600, but this camera is also $50 (30%) cheaper. Unless you are blowing the picture up, most people will not really notice any quality difference. Just make sure your ISO is not too high (

Strengths: the compact size, the 3" LCD screen, the stylish design, the feature of taking pictures with flash and no flash at once.
Weaknesses: no viewfinder, the pictures are not that great with low lights (perhaps because of my settings)
Summary: Before I start reviewing this camera, this is camera I got in amazon for around $130. So please try not to compare with the Canon SD600 or SD630 which cost around 220+. The camera is made out of metal (90% of the camera) and it is manufactured in Japan. I perfer cameras made in Japan just because usually they are more durable in some aspects. The 3" LCD is the first thing you will notice before you even start using the camera. There are only a few cameras in the market with a 3" LCD screen and the Fujifilm V10 is one of them. The LCD screen takes over almost the entire back side of the camera; however, unlike other reviews, I still find room to put my fingers on the edge on the camera. The pictures in the daylight are awesome, I guess the Fuji's Real Picture Technology (RPT) really does have an effect on pictures taken in the daylight. On the other hand, there are noise in the pictures I took at night, especially the time around sunset. However, I have a feeling I can make the pictures turn out better if I twist the settings a little bit. The 5.1 mega pixel and the 16mb xd card came with the camera are the major negatives in my opinion. The 16mb xd card is useless and it is very likely you will need to buy a larger xd card. Many cameras in the market have at least six mega pixel for around the same price, maybe that's the reason all local electronics store don't carry them. I live in Los Angeles and none of the local stores carry them. There are two colors available for the Fujifilm V10: smoke metal and orange; for some reasons, the orange model is more costly than the smoke metal model by an average of 40 dollars. The battery life of this camera is beyond my expectations. Maybe because my old Samsung camera used AA batteries. I took 200 pictures setting at 4 mega pixel. I am not a heavy user, so I believe the battery life of this camera is enough for most people. Overall, I recommend this camera for its price and value. This is the perfect camera for amatures. The fact that Fujifilm V10 is a compact camera and manufactured in Japan is a double plus for me. The 3" LCD will amazes you and your friends. The 4 games the camera came with are some nice additional bonuses, but eventually you will prefer a PSP over it. I understand no camera is perfect, especially for $130. I am happy with this camera and I think you will too. Unfortunately, for someone who wants to see the camera in person, I believe it is only available online.

Strengths: Big LCD on the back fast start up times and easy to use
Weaknesses: At times you have to put your finger on the screen to hold the camera
Summary: This is a great camera as long as all you want to do is point and shoot. I've used a for a few weeks now and its easy to use with a very big LCD on the back. I'm not a power user so I do not use advanced features and can't comment on those.

Strengths: Compact
Huge LCD Screen- 3 inch
Stylish
Top Quality
Weaknesses: Low Optical Zoom
xD Card (Cost)
Summary: I am a fuji fan and this compact one holds up to its promises. 3 inch LCD is its big plus. However I do not like xD Card used for this camera. Fuji should come up with SD Card alternative. Still, this is a clever little camera that looks great & would be very easy to carry as long as you're not picky about noise in the image

Strengths: Large lcd, natural light and flash mode, compact size
Weaknesses: battery life.
Summary: The only feature you really need to know about is the dual picture mode that takes 2 pictures at once. One without flash and one with flash. The real photo technology does give the pictures a nice color.
The rest is mediocre. For example the included 16xd card is laughable. You will have to replace it and it's a little harder to find deals on xd cards versus sd cards. The 19.4x total zoom is not a good reason to buy it since it adds alot of noise. You wouldn't want to print a picture taking with the 5.7x digital zoom so it's really a 3.4x Optical zoom which is acceptable. It includes games but they are so simple and boring that you will lose interest after 15 minutes which is about the time it takes for someone to beat all 3 games. lol. The strap included is very long so you can hang it around your neck(it labeld as a should strap). The battery is ok.
You should set the iso to 64 when you first use it. When I took it out the box and started taking pictures... the quality was really lousey with alot of noise. Once I changed it to iso 64... the difference was night and day.
Excellent camera.

Strengths: Small size, large screen, good megapixel for price
Weaknesses: some time awkward to hold due to size
Summary: I bought this camera wanting a small sized camera to slip in my pocket. The picture quality has been reasonable for the price and I like the large screen. Sometimes due to the size it can be a little awkward to hold or use but for the most part it has worked out very well. Great camera for the price.

Strengths: Huge screen, games, great pictures and very small
Weaknesses: None
Summary: My old Casio just stopped working one day so I replaced it with the FinePix V10. This ultraCompact camera is a small as my Casio and the picture is just as good too. What I really like about this camera is the Big screen. It makes sharing the pictures easy to see. I am also surprised that with a high energy consumption with a large LCD, the rechargeable battery can last all day. Overall this is a very good camera.

Strengths: Large 3" LCD, compact size, ease of use, built-in games, generally strong image quality, quick performance
Weaknesses: Unimpressive low-light performance, some controls tiny or difficult to find, no option to use as webcam on computer, XD cards are expensive
Summary: The V10 is an impressive-looking camera. Virtually the entire ack of it (except for a few buttons at the bottom) is the 3" LCD, which is high quality. The overall size is small and the camera is light, but it also feels durable.
Image quality is generally strong. The automatic mode is easy to use and there are a few flash modes (flash off, fill flash, red-eye redeuction, slow synchro) for different situations. The manual mode is not really manual, but it offers some controls including setting the ISO (100-1600, though images are pretty noisy above 400). The main problems are with dimly-lit shots, where many other Fuji cameras seem to have difficulty. There can be some issues with focusing in the dark since the camera does not have an autofocus-assist lamp. In addition, the camera will really crank up the ISO in dark areas. This allows for images when other cameras would not capture them, but really puts so much noise in some images as to render them virtually unusable for anything above 4x6 prints (even that may be a stretch).
The included rechargeable battery lasts about 100-125 shots, depending on how much the flash is used, screen is on, etc. It charges in a reasonably fast 2 hours. The camera is quick to turn on and off and prepare itself for picture taking. It is easy to use, especially for beginners and amateurs. The extras (like the built-in games) are nice, but not a big deal.
Overall, this camera is great for everyday picture takers. It can do a lot of things very well, it is small, and the images are very good quality. It only comes with a 16MB card, however, so you will probably want at least a 256MB card (which holds about 100 high-res pictures). It seems durable, and it is easy to carry around. Recommended especially if it can be found at $150 or less.

Strengths: Large, stunning display.
Nice extra features.
Good picture and movie quality.
Unrestricted movie size.
Weaknesses: Some cheap plastic parts (power in plug, tripod mount).
Battery charger is the camera itself.
Summary: Having previously owned a Fuji Finepix 3800, I have long needed a pocket sized digital camera. Since I have grown to like Fuji, I purchased the Finepix V10 when it was $123.00 on Amazon.com in March.
The first thing that really excites me about this camera is the stunning display. It's absolutely terrific. It is really nice to be able to scroll through many pictures and to show them to others on a screen that is large enough to get a good look at pictures. This screen has almost 4x the area of that on my finepix 3800.
The camera is extremely pocketable, although I can foresee that scratching the display might be an issue. I checked out the leather case that is made for this model, but decided that it's not worth buying this for 1/4 the cost of the camera. I will most likely get a protective screen cover for this.
The picture quality appears to be satisfactory. I took several at low light, and it seems that the 5F (fine) option significantly improves low light pictures.
Movie quality also appears to be good. I REALLY appreciate that Fuji has made the movie length unrestricted - I did not like the limit on my previous camera.
I think that if you can get this camera in the $100.00 range, it is a great buy. I had purchased a Canon SD camera, but it was nearly double the price. I originally thought that the cheaper cost of SD cards was worth having a Canon, but since I already have 2 256mb XD cards, and the price of these is falling as well, this no longer justifies trying to get an SD compatible camera for me.
Hope this helps!

Strengths: Cheap, solid built, small size, good ISO level
Weaknesses: No optical viewfinder, short battery time
Summary: I have an SLR and also a Canon SD600. It was an impulse buy for about $100 after rebate. I played with the camera both indoors and outdoors, and found it to be versatile in shooting in different scenes. Picture quality is generally good, except that noise is obivous at an ISO level of above 600. Though not ideal for pixel-seekers, it's perfect for keeping it handy for candid shots.

Strengths: Big screen and great value
Weaknesses: Menu buttons not comfortable
Summary: This camera is a nice starter camera. It is inexpensive compared with Canon. It is very small and easy to carry. It is lots of great functions. The only thing I do not like is that the menu button is on the bottom which makes it a little uncomfortable to reach. Since I am right handed, I prefer the buttons to be on the right side.
