Strengths: Really maintenance free. No white dust. No expensive replacement filter. Easy to carry water tank. Low cost cool mist system. Easy clean with vinegar solution.
Weaknesses: No automatic humidistat. High speed setting loud. Need high speed setting to get enough vapor in air during very dry periods.
Summary: Satisfied with purchase. Would have liked automatic humidistat control. Like the blue night light feature. Simple controls. Very little that can go wrong with unit. No additonal water conditioners required for efficient operation. No major lime build-ups so far, as experienced with warm mist systems. No hassel about having to find and replace water filters.
