Weaknesses: coffe pot doesn't hold up long. Summary: We made about 7 pots of coffee in our pot over a period of 3 months (used this pot only when company was present) and the last time we dripped a pot the coffee ended up all over our countertop. I'll let you know how the company handles my complaint. Been trying to get through to them for a couple days now. 100% of People (5/5) found this review helpful. I started having problems with it leaking after about 1 month of daily use. Besides the mess all over the counter, I find that it could be a fire hazard as sometimes when it leaks out, it doesn't get shut off and will burn the empty pot. also when shutting it off you have to make sure to push the button twice because to push it just once turns on the auto timer and it will turn on unexpectedly and this could be hazardous if no one is there to shut it off. 100% of People (1/1) found this review helpful. Weaknesses: Can't put carafe in dishwasher Summary: I've had my maker for 2 years and haven't had any problems with it. I even purchased a second one for my son just 6 months ago, he too loves it. By November the pot was leaking. I found out that it was dripping from the screws beneath the pot. I tightened them all, but they just leak slower - it doesn't stop. I looked at my product guides and I must have the original receipt for the purchase for warranty. i have emailed the company to see if they sell just the carafe. Hoping for a good answer. There is a strong plastic smell when I brew the coffee, and coffee ends up all over the counter. Summary: We are not happy and would not recommend this product.
