 Not as it seems Strengths: Wonderful cabinet, great price.
Weaknesses: Powell misrepresents the shade, style and finish of this product.
Summary: I love this cabinet, too bad it is not really this color. According to Powell Furniture they have misrepresented their own item by photographing it in some sort of unreal lighting. I ordered the antique oak and received what I believed to be the cherry finish...after sending multiple pictures Powell concluded that oak looks like cherry and therefore I would imagine the cherry looks like walnut??? Definitely buy this from a retailer where you can look at it before you purchase it. Also, one foot was completely crushed in the shipping of this item due to their lack of cushioning a 207 pound product. Styrofoam must be expensive these days. Also, be prepared to drill some holes, as these are put together so fast the company forgot to drill holes in 2 of the 4 cabinet doors, you should be so lucky however, because in the 2 that they did drill, they were drilled on the wrong side.
To sum it up, I never plan on purchasing another powell furniture item.
