Strengths: Controls and remote
Picture
Weaknesses: Setup can be difficult to make perfect
Summary: Previous InFocus owner of an Extended Definition projector.
Wanted to upgrade to 720P High Definition.
After careful consideration we chose the Sony. The unit is very clean looking and easy to mount on our ceiling. We setup the projector using the manual, which is a little hard to understand but also used websites that give specific info for this Sony. This projector is an LCD model not DLP. The screen door effect that you get with this LCD projector is very very minimal. After tweaking the settings and many hours of adjustments we have a perfect picture for our wall. We used special paint for the wall to give the picture that silver screen look. On energy save mode the picture is still fantastic. If your projector is going to be seen in your room and you don't want an eyesore this is the one to get. More adjustments than you'll know what to do with. HDMI VGA Component S-Video and an RJ45 net connection USB..enough to connect what you need. We did not need to use the Lens shift option. The color is very natural and very high detail. I recommend this to anyone looking for a unit in the above $2000.00 price range.
