I used to have the sonicare 4100 before this one and the 7300 is amazing! It has much more power and an amazing clean feeling I never felt with the 4100 version; it also feels great on sensitive gums with the power adjustion. The battery gauge is a great feature, so I am able to charge the brush before it runs out of electricity. Weaknesses: price of brush base and replacement heads. Summary: This is my (and my boyfriend's) first electric toothbrush. Though I never thought I would ever pay so much for a toothbrush, I definitely think it's worth it and so glad I did. Usually I hate brushing because of the time it takes, pressure needed, and teeth don't feel completely clean. With the Sonicare, I actually enjoy brushing, and when the brush automatically shuts off after 2 minutes, I want to brush for longer. No pressure is needed when brushing. I actually feel like I'm getting the teeth at the back of my mouth clean.
