Strengths: 4 channel amp. Compact. Adjustable crossovers for front and back. Runs cool for an amp. Versatile for different wiring. Alpine.
Weaknesses: NONE.
Summary: I installed this amp on my Honda Goldwing and I have it powering 4 Sony Explods (40 watts each) and it really rocks! It was the smallest 4 channel Quality Amp with this RMS rating I could find and it was cheap considering. I am fully impressed!

Strengths: 40W x 4 channels at 4ohm. CEA Certified. High quality construction. Crossovers for each front and rear channels and bass boost for rear channels.
Weaknesses: Heat sink will get very hot after exteneded use and there is no fan so this unit does require ventilation.
Summary: I bought this amp for use in a small compact car and it fits under the passenger seat quite nicely. It provides ample power for my four midrange speakers and two tweeters with a high quality sound and almost no distortion. This produces a much better sound than just the head unit alone and it costs little compared to the improvement in sound quality it yields.

Strengths: Very clear sounds, super affordable, good brand, plenty of bang for the buck
Weaknesses: It's not a top-of-line amp but for this price it cant be beat.
Summary: I'm using this amp to power two alpine type-s speakers and two kenwoods. I just bough this one to replace my old alpine v-12 amp so the switch was very easy. The amp never overheats or get too hot in general. I am very satisfied, i never have to get out of my car anymore without my ears ringing!

Strengths: Compact with clean look with a reasonable price tag. Easy hook up.
Weaknesses: none
Summary: At first I thought I paid a bit much for the item, but a little research showed that Alpine is a very high quality designed product and after listening to the unit while connected to my Alpine CD player, I was convinced that it was a good upgrade from my old amp.
