Strengths: Sound, FM/AM Receiption, Full set of accesories for easy installation, Panel.
Weaknesses: When it is turned off during a song, it will pick up at the beginning of the song, not where it was playing.
Summary: I will preface this review by saying that I am by no means an audiophile, but I am very picky when it comes to my head units. I have done *extensive* research over the course of the last three months, looking for the perfect balance of cost and features.Needless to say, I was overwhelmingly pleased when I found this unit. Other units in this price range don't offer near the amount of features that this unit has. Not to mention, the display is much more appealing to look at than the negative LCD displays on similarly priced models. I still have my factory speakers, but the difference this unit made was incredible. It was like it breathed new life into my speakers. Overall, you just can't beat the bang for the buck. From sound quality, to features, to even just the way it looks, you'd be hard pressed to find a better unit. Trust me, I've looked. :-)

Strengths: Low cost, simple controls, bright display, dimmer, one-touch volume attenuator, good EQ, detachable face, iPod compatible, remote included
Weaknesses: Awkward text appearance, EQ button can be mistaken for CD eject
Summary: 2006-10-10 19:11:01 I was fed up with constantly adjusting my iPod's FM transmitter on road trips and still not getting clear sound, so I upgraded my old JVC receiver to the KD-G320 to get the external input. It's capable of attaching the accessory that displays song titles on the receiver, but I would suggest the 3-line LCD screen KD-G820 instead because the KD-G320's display uses hieroglyphic-looking single-line slow-scrolling LED text. I simply wanted a solution that allowed me to use the iPod's controls like the FM transmitter does, but without the loss of sound quality -- and, with two accessories, this unit is capable of doing that. I found the KD-G320 on sale for $99 and was able to purchase the external source interface cable and RCA adapter cable both new for $15 on eBay. Now I can use the iPod to control my music just as I did with the FM transmitter, but with no background hiss or radio interference.

Strengths: Nice display, not too bright. Overall sleek look. Great sound. Lots of options and controls.
Weaknesses: Don't like the red indicator lights for the buttons, would've been a lot better with blue instead. Can't find a pause button for CD play.
Summary: Overall I'm satisfied. It's got a sleek look to it, especially with the silver volume knob, and I love the display. As far as I can tell it delivers great sound (but this is entirely dependent on your car and your output setup). And the "Loud" setting is great as well. Plenty of options and features to customize it, as well as controls for the sound (Bass, Treble, etc.). Just wish they would've done blue instead of red for the button indicators, the red just doesn't match anything. But that's a minor complaint--for the money this is a great deck.

Strengths: Sleek design, sound quality, easy to install
Weaknesses: Remote control feels unsubstantial
Summary: I purchased this unit for my fiance's '92 Astro Van as a holiday gift. It's a wonderful unit that I easily installed in a matter of seconds - and I never ever installed a player before! The sound is crisp and clear playing on both CD's and AM/FM settings. We had an AM/FM tape player before and despite our old speakers, the sound is amazing. Basic things such as setting radio stations and changing the clock was easily done, too. For anyone who would like a well priced unit to play the radio and CD's, definitely get this one. It's a great brand, has a sleek design and is so simple to use. The remote feels light and kinda cheap but it's not a big deal to us because we'll hardly use the remote anyways. Love it!
