Strengths: Complete Package, Sturdy, Durable and Easy to setup
Weaknesses: Pump struggles under heavy load and the filter needs replacing often.
Summary: I purchased one of these pools from a local Target, because I realised I can buy 10 of these for the price of a normal above ground pool.
I got it over the floating ring ones because you won't loose half the pool water every time someone gets in or out.
I was expecting it to last about a week before one of my drunken mates went through a side wall or ran into the steel frame.
So far it's lasted all season, and it looks like it will last another.
The steel frame is sturdy and holds the pool well. It will hold people sitting on it etc. The liner is strong, and despite constant use hasn't started to tear or wear through anywhere.
The pool comes with a Ladder, Pump with filter and cover.
The cover didn't fit out of the box, and the paper filter in the pump isn't really in the same class as a proper pool filter. It will keep the pool clean for normal use... But if you have a full day in the sun with 10 adults all with sun cream and beer jumping in and out of the pool, you'll go through about 2 filters and a week of having the pump on to get the water completely clear again.
Also, since this holds 36" of water, where I live you're supposed to have a pool fence, and council permission to set it up.
Also, they're not kidding on the box. This needs to be set up on flat, level ground. Chances are you'll need to do some digging or lay some sand.
I would thoroughly recommend this pool, it’s a complete package, it’s sturdy and adequate for normal family use – and it’ll put up with a hiding if it has to.
