Lowrance GPS, IFINDER H20 C

Love It

Strengths: large screen, easy to use and very accurate

Weaknesses: screen sometimes hard to read in bright light

Summary: This was a Christmas gift and she just loves it. It is very accurate and holds a lock even under dense foliage when other units in our group have lost their lock. The screen is large which is a plus for our older eyes. She has found it quite easy to use but has had to consult the owner's manual a few times. The first unit we received had a problem and we contacted customer service. It was replaced very quickly with a new unit. As I've heard with several color units it can be hard to read in bright sunlight. The battery cover attaches very tightly and the latch has cracked. We haven't yet tried to get that replaced as we don't want to give up the unit! The only other complaint I would have is the rubber seal where the car adapter attaches. It doesn't seal very well and it looks like it may tear off easily.

Overall this is a great unit and I felt the most bang for the buck. I wouldn't hesitate to enthusiastically recommend it to anyone and am very glad I bought it.

works great

Strengths: good color, easy to use

Weaknesses: none

Summary: I have used a friends and I had to have it. It has great detail and easy to use and handle. I plan on buying the lakemaster to go with it and maybe the fish hot spots. I would highly reccommend this product.

Where u at?

Strengths: Screen resolution Button Placement

Weaknesses: Battery life with backlight on Lots of acronyms to learn Buttons not backlite Base map

Summary: I like this GPS. It is fairly easy to use and much better button placement than a Garmin. The display is a little hard to read when it is sunny unless you get it at just the right angle to the sun. On sunny days make sure you turn off the backlight as it will do little to the readability of the screen but will suck you battery life to nothing quickly.

I use this for fishing,so I got the Lake Pro map chip. This makes this unit a great aid for fishing.

Overall I recommend it.

Great compact size GPS

Strengths: Great clarity and color screen

Weaknesses: Not as easy to use as I expected.

Summary: Before I purchased this unit I went to several sporting good stores and watched demonstrations and ask for recommendations on the best one to purchase. This GPS was highly recommended for lake use and now I see why. The color clarity is great. Learning to use it was not as easy as I expected, but then I'm not very electronically minded. I purchased the instructional training DVD which has helped me learn more about the features and functions and how to get the most out of my unit. I think this will be used alot.
